TINO LIVRAMENTO is poised to return for World Cup selection with England.
The 23-year-old Newcastle full-back was initially sidelined for the season after sustaining a groin injury against Bournemouth last month.
This injury has compounded a difficult season for Livramento, who has also faced knee and hamstring issues, attracting interest from both Arsenal and Manchester City.
Livramento will miss the match against West Ham on Sunday and the season finale at Fulham.
Nonetheless, Newcastle boss Eddie Howe reassured Thomas Tuchel, who has lost Arsenal’s Ben White, about the defender’s potential readiness for the upcoming World Cup.
He remarked: “Tino should be fine. If the season were to extend for a couple more weeks, he’d be back with us.”

Fellow full-back Lewis Hall, nominated for the Premier League’s young player of the season, is also expected to be available.
The 21-year-old appeared to have fitness issues during last week’s draw with Nottingham Forest but is cleared for the match against West Ham.
Howe stated: “Lewis is fit; he’s trained well this week. We don’t have any fitness concerns regarding him.”
Veteran Kieran Trippier is set for an emotional farewell at Tyneside during the match against West Ham.

Injured Emil Krafth will also conclude his seven-year stint at Newcastle next month.
The 31-year-old Swedish full-back will show his appreciation to the St. James’ Park crowd during a halftime presentation tomorrow.
He expressed: “I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to represent this fantastic football club for the last seven years. It has significantly impacted my life, and I’ve built wonderful memories here; Newcastle is a place I’m proud to have called home.
“I’ve experienced ups and downs personally and faced challenges with injuries, but the support from fans, teammates, coaching staff, and everyone linked to the club has been phenomenal. This is a memory I will cherish forever, and I want to express my immense gratitude for that.
“It has been an honor to wear the shirt and contribute to a team that has made remarkable history in recent years. I firmly believe the future is exceptionally bright for this club, and I’ll be following closely and supporting from afar.”
Additionally, Newcastle is keeping an eye on 20-year-old French goalkeeper Ewen Jaouen from Reims, who has a valuation of about £20 million.
