Morgan Rogers has ignited a discussion by asserting he’s joined the largest club in London.
Yet, as my surroundings suggest, I must respectfully disagree with him.

To support my claim that Arsenal might be the biggest club in London, just look at last season’s Premier League standings.
Notice who the champions are. Yes, that’s Arsenal. Whilst Rogers champions the largest club in London, he is now part of a team that finished in 10th place last season.

Chelsea fans may point to history and European accomplishments, but there’s only one team that has gone an entire Premier League season unbeaten—Arsenal.

Surprising, right? My colleague Simon Collings and a bunch of Arsenal fans believe Morgan Rogers is mistaken and that Chelsea isn’t the biggest club in London.

If you’re going to claim to be the biggest club in London, you better start proving it, because that’s not what I’m witnessing right now.
Let’s revisit this next season. I know Chelsea finished 10th; I’m aware of that. But this isn’t just about one season.
Don’t celebrate a single successful season where you clinched the league, because we’ve seen that before.
Realistically, the only argument Arsenal might have is a larger global following or perhaps more fans in London.
However, when it comes to global reach today, Arsenal trails with 11 million fewer Instagram followers than Chelsea.
To give Arsenal some credit, 25 years ago, they might have easily won that argument, but we’re not in those days anymore.
Times have changed. Chelsea remains the biggest club in London, so… sorry, Simon.
