As reported by Sky Sports, Livramento has damaged his knee ligaments, putting him out for approximately eight weeks, especially after Newcastle conceded a late goal in the 96th minute.
Fortunately, the versatile full-back has avoided a second ACL tear.
Livramento will begin an extensive rehabilitation process.
He is projected to be unavailable for as many as 10 matches during this period.
His absence will influence Eddie Howe’s strategies as the team aims to excel in both the Premier League and Champions League.
The injury resulted from a challenge by Saliba, prompting Howe to note that the outlook was concerning.
Livramento could be out until late November, missing crucial Champions League games against Union Saint-Gilloise, Benfica, and Athletic Bilbao.
In the Premier League, he won’t face Nottingham Forest, Brighton, Fulham, West Ham, Brentford, and Man City.
