LEIGH is contemplating withdrawing from Friday’s Super League semi-final due to disagreements over ticket allocations.
The Leopards are scheduled to travel just nine miles to Wigan for the Battle of the Borough, where a place in the Grand Final is on the line.

Owner Derek Beaumont has notified the Warriors that he is not willing to proceed with the match, despite being offered a maximum of 5,400 tickets.
Leigh, a town with a population of 46,000, has already sold over 16,000 tickets.
If an agreement is not reached, the match will be canceled.
In a strongly-worded statement, Wigan confirmed: “At 10:37 PM on Tuesday, Derek Beaumont from Leigh Leopards informed us in writing that they do not intend to fulfill the Semi-Final fixture scheduled for Friday.”
“We can confirm that Leigh Leopards were offered either 4,600 unreserved seats or 5,400 reserved seats in the North Stand.”
“This allocation was determined by the independent Safety Advisory Group and our Ground Safety Officer, after consulting with the police.”
“The Super League also sought separate safety advice that fully backed this approach.”
“It is crucial to mention that the offer exceeded the 10 percent minimum required for away supporters, nearly doubling that threshold.”
