RASMUS HOJLUND shut down critics with a remarkable brace in the Champions League.
The Danish forward played a pivotal role as Napoli overcame Sporting Lisbon 2-1 at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Hojlund netted his first goal in the 36th minute, with an assist from Kevin De Bruyne.
The striker smoothly placed his shot past the onrushing Rui Silva.
The pair connected once more to regain the lead for Napoli, with Hojlund, 22, scoring with a header from De Bruyne’s cross.
Post-goal, he celebrated by pointing to the Champions League emblem on his sleeve.
Many fans read this as a slight directed at his previous team, Manchester United.

Napoli is expected to make his loan deal permanent, depending on their qualification for next season’s Champions League.
The evening was challenging for United supporters as Marcus Rashford also shone, providing an assist to Ferran Torres in Barcelona’s 2-1 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
Rashford has provided four assists and two goals for the Catalan club in nine matches across the Champions League and La Liga.
