Duolingo implied the move is imminent, revealing on X that he is studying Spanish.

Konate’s potential exit has prompted Liverpool to quicken their search for a fitting replacement.

Arne Slot’s side made a last-minute unsuccessful attempt to acquire Crystal Palace’s captain, Marc Guehi.

Palace declined their interest, even though his contract is set to expire next summer.
