Tim Sukazi, the chairman of TS Galaxy, has provided insights on the departures of three key players: Sphiwe Mahlangu, Dzenan Zajmovic, and Keagan Dolly.
In a candid chat with Ikwekwezi FM, Sukazi explained the circumstances surrounding each player’s exit.
“In football, it’s common for players to leave and new ones to join. This is a natural aspect of the sport, and the reasons for departures and arrivals can vary,” Sukazi clarified.
Sukazi highlighted that Zajmovic’s departure was mainly due to permit complications, which hindered his ability to stay with his family in South Africa.
“With Zajmovic, it was all about the permit; he wished to live with his family here but couldn’t obtain that permit,” he shared.

“He expressed that he found it hard to play without his family around, as their support is crucial for him.
“As someone who values emotional connections, I believed it was important for TS Galaxy to embrace the spirit of Ubuntu, which led us to mutually agree on releasing him from his contract.”
Regarding Dolly, Sukazi mentioned that his one-year contract had expired. The club communicated that he wouldn’t have a consistent playing role in the future but suggested an alternative position as a staff member.
“As for Dolly, we only had him signed for a year,” he commented.
“His contract has now concluded, and we discussed his inability to play regularly for TS Galaxy, such as starting and finishing matches.
“Additionally, we noticed that he could take on a different role off the field, as a staff member rather than a player. He indicated that he would talk this over with his family.”
Sukazi shared a thoughtful perspective on Mahlangu’s departure, who had committed five seasons to the club. He noticed signs of Mahlangu’s exit when he learned that the player had signed a pre-contract with another team, Sekhukhune United.
“Regarding Mahlangu, we’ve shared a lot over the five years he was with us,” Sukazi reflected.
“Sekhukhune acquired him following our match against Pirates at Orlando Stadium. I informed everyone that Mahlangu had signed a pre-contract with another team. I recognized that shift early on.
“So, Sekhukhune picked him up, and I wish him all success in his new journey.”
During his time with the Rockets, Mahlangu scored 13 goals in five league seasons.
Zajmovic contributed eight league goals in 25 matches, while Dolly managed two in 18 appearances. Despite their departures, Sukazi’s comments indicate that Galaxy is eager to advance and build a strong team for the future.
