Sekhukhune United has officially confirmed the simultaneous signing of experienced striker Bradley Grobler and forward Sphiwe Mahlangu.
Grobler transfers from SuperSport United, a move that was first reported by Sportswire earlier this week. Meanwhile, Mahlangu has joined from TS Galaxy.
“Sekhukhune United is thrilled to welcome Bradley Grobler from SuperSport United. The accomplished forward brings a wealth of top-flight experience and a proven goal-scoring ability! Welcome to Babina Noko,” the club stated.
Grobler has been with SuperSport since January 2013, following a transfer from Cape Town Spurs after a brief period with the Turkish club Göztepe. Over his 12 years at SuperSport, he won two Nedbank Cup titles – in the 2015/16 and 2016/17 seasons, both against Orlando Pirates. He notably scored in each of those finals, held at Peter Mokaba Stadium and Moses Mabhida Stadium, respectively.
At Sekhukhune, Grobler will reconnect with his former coach, Eric Tinkler, under whom he won the MTN8 title in the 2017/18 season after a victory over Cape Town City. He leaves SuperSport as their all-time top scorer, with 91 goals and 29 assists across 293 matches.

Sphiwe Mahlangu Enhances Sekhukhune’s Attack
Mahlangu, hailing from Mpumalanga, the region where TS Galaxy is located, scored 15 goals and registered nine assists in 110 appearances for the Rockets.
“Sekhukhune United is delighted to confirm the signing of Sphiwe Mahlangu from TS Galaxy. Mahlangu strengthens our offensive options as we gear up for the new season. Welcome to Babina Noko,” the club announced.
Sekhukhune has also declared the return of Wonderboy Makhubu from Magesi FC, where he was on loan.
Furthermore, Sekhukhune United is anticipated to officially unveil the signing of Miguel Timm, who left Orlando Pirates at the end of the previous season.
