Sipho Mbule’s prospects at Mamelodi Sundowns remain in doubt as the club considers the possibility of releasing him due to recent disciplinary issues.
Mbule’s loan at Sekhukhune United was abruptly terminated following misconduct, and he has not attended training with Sundowns since Babina Noko let him go earlier this month.
The 27-year-old midfielder started his loan spell at Sekhukhune United this season, but his time there was marred by controversies.
His contract with Sundowns is set to expire at the end of the season, and reports suggest that the club has no intention of renewing it.
Since joining in 2022, Mbule has made 51 appearances for Sundowns, scoring three goals in all competitions. During his tenure, he achieved two league titles and the African Football League.

While at Sekhukhune, Mbule showcased his talent, featuring in 17 matches across all competitions and netting two goals.
His performances underscored his skill and potential, despite the controversies surrounding his departure from the club.
Should Mbule leave Sundowns, the club will need to find a fitting replacement, potentially from their current roster or via new signings.
