The Brit admitted she consistently misplaces her Italian Open accreditation

Raducanu advanced to the third round after securing wins against Maya Joint and Jil Teichmann in Rome.

Following her second victory, she couldn’t help but laugh during a charming post-match interview with Sky Sports, as her forgetfulness was highlighted.

For security reasons, players, coaches, media, and staff at tennis events are required to carry their accreditation at all times for identity verification.

While Raducanu appears to be hitting her stride on the court, she struggles to keep track of her passes off it.

Karthi Gnanasegaram joked: “Things are going quite well in Rome, aside from the fact that you keep losing your accreditation.”

“Are you at the top of the list of people misplacing their accreditation and being denied entry?”

This brought a chuckle from Raducanu.

The British sensation humorously replied: “Well, I’ve already won something this week.”

“I was the first to lose my accreditation.

“Then I mislaid the second one.”

“Then I was publicly called out on the board at the entrance.

“It’s not the best situation, but honestly, it’s pretty much a reflection of me.”

Last year, Raducanu’s best friend Shauna humorously disclosed to Roman Kemp that the first app she checks on her phone each morning is Find My Friends.

In February, the former US Open champion openly shared with a reporter that she is a night owl who enjoys late-night walks at 11pm.

She added: “I’m not sure if that’s wise or not…”

Raducanu will hope this unintended accreditation honor isn’t the only trophy she takes home from her time in Rome.

The world No. 49 is set to compete against Veronika Kudermetova on Sunday for a place in the last 16.

This match coincides with Jack Draper’s third-round showdown.
