Tommy Fury makes his return to boxing tonight, headlining a matchup against fellow professional Kenan Hanjalic after an 18-month hiatus from the ring.
At just 26, Fury probably imagined he would be a world champion by now. Though he possesses the name, physical attributes, and style to compete at the highest levels, he has frequently shifted his focus to reality TV fame.
More famous for his high-profile relationship with Molly-Mae than his flawless 10-0 record, Fury’s clash with Hanjalic – a last-minute replacement for Darren Till – presents an opportunity to get back to his roots in boxing.
In addition, Fury’s brother, Roman, will also enter the ring for his fifth fight of his career, facing Josip Pehar as the second-to-last match of the night.
The fight card is set to kick off at 7:30 PM BST, featuring preliminary bouts such as Valentin Koloszar vs Alexandru Ionita and Varadi Sandor vs Nikolas Panic before the Fury matches.
