Fury felt apprehensive as he prepared for his entrance after an 18-month break.

However, he dominated his Bosnian rival, securing his first victory since narrowly defeating KSI by unanimous decision in October 2023, thereby enhancing his record to an impressive 11-0.

Overcome with emotion after his win, Fury paid homage to his girlfriend Molly-Mae, who just confirmed they are BACK TOGETHER, during his post-fight address, where he spoke candidly about his struggles with depression and alcohol.

He expressed: “I want to thank the Lord Saviour Jesus Christ for this victory; without Him, none of this would be achievable.

“I want to send my love to my beautiful baby girl, Bambi, at home. And to my sweetheart, Molly. She will always be mine forever.”

“I also dedicate this to my mom and dad because without them, I wouldn’t be here. I owe them everything.

“I’ve faced significant challenges over the last couple of years that have truly tested me. I battled alcoholism and momentarily lost my family.

But he was hesitant to throw punches in bunches

“But I’ve turned my life around; I’ve gone from feeling low to being on top of the world again.”

Fury adopted a careful strategy in the first round, using probing jabs while feinting.

Hanjalic quickly took a defensive stance, seeking openings to counter-punch Fury.

Fury’s agility was evident in the second round as he utilized his movement to confound Hanjalic.

The jab proved to be Fury’s most effective weapon as Hanjalic struggled to adjust to its rhythm.

Fury easily dodged several of Hanjalic’s slower throws.

However, as he lowered his offensive output, he inadvertently invited Hanjalic back into the fight.

This encouraged Hanjalic to engage and fight at close quarters.

In the third round, Fury sought to increase his activity but often found himself in tiring clinches.

An accidental low blow from Fury prompted a pause in action, causing displeasure for his father John.

Bleeding from the foul, Hanjalic appeared hesitant to continue when the bout resumed.

Midway through the fourth, Fury was momentarily rattled by a strong right hand.

Nevertheless, Hanjalic’s success was curtailed soon after with a point deduction.

Fury’s most significant blow landed shortly thereafter, a left hook, but he failed to capitalize with a follow-up.

His corner, led by John, encouraged him to remain composed as the fifth round approached.

Fury complied during moments he wasn’t entangled with Hanjalic in clinches.

Rather than attempting to finish the fight, Fury concentrated on countering and defending.

This resulted in increased pressure from Hanjalic, who felt a powerful right hand shortly after a body shot.

Despite this, Hanjalic remained nimble enough to dodge Fury’s desperate efforts to conclude the fight, ultimately solidifying his victory and advancing his record to 11-0.
