The Spanish giants are keen for TAA to be part of next month’s Club World Cup, although they may need to pay over £1million to finalize the deal.
Liverpool will maintain his £180,000 weekly salary since his contract remains valid until June 30.
Real’s initial match in the US is against Saudi club Al-Hilal on June 18.
They could officially register their new signing between June 1 and 10, or during the knockout phase from June 27 to July 3.
While Real aims to acquire TAA for around £1million, Liverpool might insist on an additional £500,000.
At 26 years old, Alexander-Arnold has three more games with Liverpool, culminating in his farewell at Anfield against Crystal Palace on the final matchday.
He may also participate in matches against Arsenal on Sunday before heading to Brighton.
However, he might not receive a warm send-off from Liverpool fans during his departure.

Many supporters are disappointed by the defender’s decision to leave the club.
Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher commented that the frustration surrounding his exit is “understandable.”
Trent Alexander-Arnold announces he is leaving Liverpool after 20 years in emotional video

In his Telegraph column, Carragher remarked: “Liverpool aims to secure more Premier League and Champions League titles.
“Any disruption to this goal is seen as a threat.
“You might disagree or think the passionate pursuit of a star player’s retention isn’t warranted, yet this fierceness is part of what defines Liverpool’s success and is no different from expectations at clubs like Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Barcelona, or Manchester United.
“By leaving Liverpool, Alexander-Arnold is complicating his club’s quest for a 21st league title and seventh European Cup.
“Such moves are bound to provoke strong emotions.”
Some negative reactions have led to Alexander-Arnold being “banned” from venues like Curry’s and Popworld.
Trent Alexander-Arnold’s Liverpool exit interview
TRENT ALEXANDER-ARNOLD spoke with Liverpool’s in-house media to clarify his choice to leave Anfield.
Here are the key highlights…
I want to begin by stating that it’s a difficult choice, and it’s taken a lot of thought. Having spent 20 years at the club, I’ve cherished every moment and achieved all my dreams. Despite committing myself fully every single day, I’ve reached a stage where I seek change and a new challenge as both a player and a person. I believe now is the perfect time for me to pursue that.
There’s been a lot of speculation about my decision and how it should have been handled. I felt it was important for the focus to remain on the pitch rather than my personal situation.
I have complete trust in the manager, staff, and club as we look forward. This isn’t about doubting our ability to compete for titles; it’s genuinely about what I feel is necessary for my growth.
I grew up idolizing players who left the club after contributing to success. I understand the emotional connection fans have, especially when players bring home trophies. I completely recognize that my news might disappoint or upset many, and that weighed heavily on me. However, I had to make a decision for my own benefit; it’s as simple as that. It’s a tough choice that has lingered in my mind, but talking about it now feels like a relief. I want the fans to understand my perspective and the truth.
My love for the club has grown since childhood, providing me with opportunities beyond my wildest dreams. I can’t fully express my gratitude for everything given to me, and I do not take any of it for granted. I’ve sacrificed a lot over these 20 years.
I know the news might take time to absorb, and understandably, people will feel hurt and angry. Ultimately, while I understand their feelings, I hope that the rest of the team and staff recognize the fantastic season we’ve had and feel the love and support from fans.
I definitely plan to return one day—I would love to bring my children to Anfield and show them where I played, sharing memories and highlights of our achievements. A heartfelt thank you for everything—the support, love, and backing I’ve always felt. I will always treasure the club, its people, and its fans. Even as I step away as a player, I will forever remain a Liverpool fan.
