Igor Figueiredo returns to the iconic Sheffield venue as the defending champion after making history at last year’s tournament.
He clinched the title by beating Ken Doherty 5-2 in the final, marking the first occasion a player from outside Europe has lifted the Crucible crown.
Doherty is back this year, alongside the legendary Jimmy White, who seeks to add a fifth World Seniors trophy to his impressive collection.
