Nedbank Cup Final Tickets Sold Out in Durban

Stadium Manager Bertie Grobbelaar and PSL Acting CEO Mato Madlala have revealed that tickets for the Nedbank Cup final at Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday are completely sold out.

Kaizer Chiefs is set to clash with Orlando Pirates in Durban, but ticket sales encountered a significant issue after their launch on Monday at 10:00 AM.

CEO Madlala mentioned that a thorough investigation will be conducted to prevent similar problems in the future.

Grobbelaar, appointed as an independent consultant due to his proficiency in ticket management for matches between these two teams, calculated the total tickets available for sale.

He highlighted that Moses Mabhida Stadium has a capacity of 49,307 seats, with 537 identified as complimentary tickets and 3,000 reserved for sponsors. This resulted in 41,000 tickets being accessible for the public.

Nonetheless, Grobbelaar confirmed, “At present, we have no tickets left for sale.”
