The situation intensified as Acerbi confronted Martinez, resulting in a scuffle.

Teammates held Acerbi back while he angrily gestured and shouted at Martinez.

Referee Szymon Marciniak intervened, and VAR was utilized to assess whether a red card infraction took place.

Ultimately, the review determined that no cards were warranted.
