Players have previously raised issues about the wind affecting their throws in front of an audience of 11,000 fans dressed in orange, and Price claimed it impacted his performance.
Price, aged 40, took to Instagram to voice his opinions, stating: “I’m disappointed for myself and for everyone who supports me.
“I apologize, but this week felt pointless, and we look forward to next week.
“Darts were swirling around everywhere, and after winning the first leg, I realized it was futile.
“Considering my position in the league and the significance of points, this result was not what I was aiming for.
“I sincerely hope the PDC will stop hosting events here and look for better venues.
“These conditions aren’t suitable for players, fans, or those who enjoy placing bets.
“Moving on to next week, where we can compete under fair conditions.
