The picturesque Canary Islands were engulfed in heavy rain and fog, a sharp contrast to their usual sunny climate.
This severe weather had a drastic effect on the race, which saw drivers from across the globe maneuvering through narrow, winding roads.
Onlookers assembled in their homes to watch as cars raced past at staggering speeds.
However, the slick conditions resulted in two stunning crashes happening at the SAME spot.
The first involved Russian driver Alexey Lukyanuk, who lost control and struck the side of an unoccupied house.
Race officials temporarily paused the event to evaluate the situation before permitting it to resume.
Yet, soon after, a second crash occurred in the same area.
This time, local driver Yeray Lemes encountered difficulties and skidded at that very location.

Spanish goalie Santiago Canizares veered off the road during an incredible Rally race crash
One spectator exclaimed: “Dude, what the heck?”
Another questioned: “Who is liable for the damages in such situations?”
A viewer noted: “I stayed in a villa just 200 meters down the hill; those roads are so tight.”
Someone else added: “What a totally expected outcome.”
Additionally, another incident forced driver Jan Cerny to withdraw from the competition.
Ultimately, the Tenerife rally was claimed by Sergio Fuentes and Teocrice Hernandez.
