Who is Rory McIlroy’s wife Erica Stoll?
Born in 1988, Erica Stoll grew up in Irondequoit, New York, with her sister, Natalie Stoll.
She eventually moved to Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.

Rory met Erica while she was working as the manager of Championship Volunteer Operations for the PGA of America in 2011.
Her experience in sports has helped her understand the pressures that come with Rory’s profession.
Their first meeting took place in 2012 when Rory nearly missed the Ryder Cup Miracle at Medinah because he overslept.
Erica, being a member of the PGA staff, came to his aid and ensured he made it to the course that morning in September.

The couple said “I do” on April 21, 2017.

Why did Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki split?
Rory was previously engaged to tennis champion Caroline Wozniacki, but famously called off their relationship in 2014 right before their wedding invitations were about to be sent.
This was just before the BMW PGA Championship at Wentworth, which he went on to win alongside victories at both The Open and the US PGA that same year.
Rory remarked: “At that moment, I thought dating someone in a similar line of work was a sensible choice.
“However, it doesn’t always work out, as it complicates the ability to step away from the golf world and re-engage with reality.
“Now, I feel genuinely at ease. I don’t sense that Erica wants to change me at all.
“I can truly be myself with her; it’s real, with no pretension or performance.”
