The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially confirmed that the Nedbank Cup final is set to occur at Moses Mabhida Stadium on May 10.
The final will showcase a thrilling match between Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates next month.
This news follows Kaizer Chiefs’ victory against Mamelodi Sundowns with a scoreline of 2-1 at Loftus Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Earlier that same day, Orlando Pirates claimed their place in the final by defeating Marumo Gallants 1-0 at Orlando Stadium.
The final will serve as a rematch of the 2006 Absa Cup final, where Kaizer Chiefs triumphed over Orlando Pirates in a penalty shootout.

The last match between these rivals at the Durban stadium saw Kaizer Chiefs secure a 1-0 win over Orlando Pirates in the MTN8 final during the 2014/15 season.
The most recent Nedbank Cup final held at the stadium featured Chiefs up against TS Galaxy, where Galaxy won 1-0 via a penalty by Zakhele Lepasa.
Moses Mabhida Stadium will host its second cup final this season, having previously been the venue for the MTN8 final in October of last year, where Pirates emerged victorious with a 3-1 win against Stellenbosch. This upcoming match will mark Pirates’ 11th final at this historic Durban location.
