Unknown are the identities of those involved in the skirmish.

As the fighting progressed, several bar stools were wielded as makeshift weapons.

One fan was spotted holding a chair as he approached the other supporters.

Then the groups began seizing chairs to toss them at one another.

A gathering of onlookers assembled across the street, captivated by the intense scene.

The underdog Aston Villa is gearing up to face soon-to-be French champions Paris Saint-Germain in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final at the Parc des Princes tonight.

PSG are experienced competitors in European knockout tournaments, having reached the quarter-finals for the last 13 seasons consecutively.

They have clinched the Ligue 1 title with an impressive six matches left and eliminated tournament favorites Liverpool in the last round.

However, Villa is in remarkable form, riding a seven-match winning streak.

They progressed to the quarter-finals after triumphing over Club Brugge with a remarkable 6-1 aggregate score in the last 16.

The team has netted 20 goals and kept five clean sheets in their last seven games, and with four-time Europa League champion Unai Emery in charge, fans are hopeful for a potential upset.
