PAUL MERSON faced an awkward wardrobe blunder on live television with Sky Sports as he jumped in joy celebrating one of Declan Rice’s breathtaking free-kick goals.
The Arsenal midfielder netted two incredible set-piece goals within just 12 minutes, playing a pivotal role in his team’s 3-0 triumph over Real Madrid in the Champions League.

Mikel Merino also found the net during the first-leg quarter-final match at the Emirates on Tuesday evening.
Arsenal is now on the brink of a semi-final showdown against either Aston Villa or Paris Saint-Germain.
The Gunners delivered impressive performances throughout the match yesterday.
However, it was Rice who shone the brightest with his two magnificent free-kick strikes.
The England international, who had NEVER scored a direct free-kick in his career until this match, executed his first from a distance in the 58th minute.
Yet, Rice’s second goal in the 70th minute was even more astonishing.
From a position reminiscent of set-piece expert David Beckham, Rice curled a sensational shot around Real Madrid’s wall and into the top corner.
Watching from the Sky Sports studio, Merson was clearly excited by the stunning goal.
