Scholes expresses concern over Mainoo & Garnacho exits
Manchester United legend Paul Scholes is anxious that co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe might offload Kobbie Mainoo and Alejandro Garnacho in the upcoming transfer window.
In a conversation with Premier League Productions, Scholes stated, “This is undoubtedly a major worry.

“What sources will fund the new signings? The interviews with Sir Jim were not encouraging.
“It doesn’t seem that Ruben Amorim will receive the significant resources needed to make essential additions. It looks unlikely.
“I have a suspicion, which could be incorrect, but they might consider parting with these two promising individuals. I worry that Mainoo and Garnacho could be on their way out.
“They might trade them this summer. Losing Mainoo would be particularly difficult. Both departures would be alarming. Garnacho’s path began later, but Mainoo has been part of the club since he was a child.
“He had an outstanding season last year, and if a player of his caliber can’t secure a position, it reflects poorly on the academy that he must be sold.
“I truly hope I’m wrong, but the indications I’m receiving suggest this is a serious issue.”
