According to insiders, Coleen is exploring several “very appealing” television opportunities while Wayne prepares to step into his new role as caregiver at home.
The couple is preparing for a major role reversal as Wayne, age 39, parted ways with the struggling Plymouth Argyle yesterday.
The former England and Manchester United striker will return home to their four children, allowing Coleen, age 38, to concentrate on her promising television career following her acclaimed stint on I’m A Celebrity.
Sources report that she is considering “four or five” television offers, potentially placing her alongside popular personalities like Holly Willoughby, Lorraine Kelly, and Cat Deeley.

Coleen, who finished as a runner-up on I’m A Celebrity, expressed her eagerness to reunite with her kids and Wayne before making any decisions about her future.
However, last night sources indicated that it’s now “her time to shine” after Championship club Plymouth Argyle confirmed Wayne’s departure was by mutual consent due to a disappointing period.
A source revealed: “Coleen empathizes with Wayne’s situation, as she recognizes the commitment he has shown and his dedication to being a football manager.
“Nevertheless, with every hurdle comes a chance, allowing him to remain home with her and their boys, giving her the stability to seize any opportunities that come her way.
“Since her return from Australia, she has focused on her children, acknowledging that being away from them was difficult.
“Yet, she is aware of the considerable interest in her and that various TV offers are pouring in. She has around four or five very enticing options currently available.

“Wayne’s return home will provide her the time she needs to evaluate each offer.

Coleen — living in the North West with their sons Kai, 15, Klay, 11, Kit, 8, and Cass, 6 — previously mentioned that she turned down television opportunities due to being overwhelmed with personal responsibilities.
Reflecting on her choice to participate in I’m A Celebrity, she stated: “I felt ready to take part. My children are growing up a bit more now, which made me comfortable with leaving them. Plus, there have been many circumstances in the past that made me feel unprepared. This time, however, I thought to myself, ‘Let’s go for it.’ I adore the show and it was a challenge I don’t regret.”
Meanwhile, Wayne — who had a distinguished playing career before transitioning to management — encountered challenges at Plymouth.
The team hadn’t secured a victory since November 5, experiencing several heavy defeats, including a 2-0 loss against relegation rivals Oxford United on Sunday.
The club announced yesterday: “Plymouth Argyle can confirm that the club and Head Coach Wayne Rooney have mutually agreed to part ways immediately.
“We thank Wayne and his team for their contributions and wish them success in their future endeavors.”
This announcement came less than 24 hours after Wayne vehemently denied accusations that he brought a mysterious woman back to his rented flat.
He clarified that she and a male companion were simply giving him a ride home.
Wayne explained: “I’ve noticed a video circulating showing a man and woman in my apartment. They kindly offered me a ride home and were there at the same time as my son, who came to visit.”
Coleen, who was seen with her children at a Manchester United game at Old Trafford on Monday, reportedly felt “unfazed” by the video.

Rooney made his mark at just 16 years old with Everton before moving to Manchester United, where he became the club’s all-time leading scorer with 253 goals.
His accolades include winning multiple trophies at Old Trafford, including five Premier League titles and a Champions League trophy, along with earning 120 caps and scoring 53 goals for England.
