Former West Ham manager David Moyes has declared that he is not yet ready to retire from management.
Nevertheless, he will only return to coaching when a suitable opportunity arises.
Moyes has been without a club since leaving the Hammers in May.
Earlier this month, he did not rule out a third term at the London Stadium given the increasing concerns surrounding Julen Lopetegui – his successor.
The Scotsman has also been linked with a potential return to Everton following their change in ownership.
Although Moyes, who has recently been honored as an OBE in the New Year Honours for his impact on football, has shown interest in returning to the game, he emphasized that he would do so solely if a fitting opportunity arises.
The 61-year-old shared with BBC Sport: “I don’t think I’m done yet, but I’m certainly enjoying some time away from football.
“I don’t believe in putting pressure on any manager myself, as that’s not something I appreciate when I’m in that situation.
“As I get older, I must ensure I’m making the right decisions for myself.
“Football has always been a passion of mine since I was a child. I love watching it and have enjoyed my career.

“If a new chapter comes along, that’s great. But it has to be a positive one. I would not want to take on a situation that is extremely challenging.
“I don’t wish to find myself in a relegation battle, having dealt with that numerous times, so we’ll see what unfolds.”
