MO SALAH has set a new record in the Premier League following Liverpool’s commanding 5-0 win over West Ham.
The Hammers endured a significant defeat at the London Stadium, with the Egyptian forward showcasing his exceptional talent.
Salah, now 32, netted one goal and provided assists for two others during the match, marking a stellar display for Liverpool.
He set up Cody Gakpo for the second goal before scoring the third himself.
Salah also assisted Diogo Jota, who capped off the match’s scoring.
With this performance, he became the first player to achieve both scoring and assisting in eight matches within a single Premier League season.
This achievement has only been recorded seven times since the league started in 1992.
Before reaching this milestone, Salah was on par with other legendary players like Harry Kane, Thierry Henry, and Alan Shearer.
Bruno Fernandes and Robin van Persie had also completed this feat seven times in a single season.
Additionally, Salah’s impressive run has led him to score 20 goals in all competitions this season so far.

‘We are far away from that,’ says Mo Salah as Liverpool star sends club another contract warning
Arne Slot’s side is currently at the top of the Premier League, leading second-placed Nottingham Forest by eight points.
They have only suffered a single defeat in the league this season, which occurred against Forest at Anfield back in September.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s courageous Tricky Trees have played one match more than Liverpool.
Arsenal, in third place with just 18 games played, is nine points behind.
Meanwhile, Salah is poised to become a free agent at the season’s conclusion and can start discussing a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs in January.
Following the win against West Ham, he reiterated his commitment to Liverpool.
He stated: “No, we are far away from that and I don’t want to make any statements that could stir up media speculation.
“My focus is currently on the team.
“All I think about is for Liverpool to win the league title; I just want to help with that.
“That’s been my only goal since the start of the season.
“I will give everything I can for the team to secure a trophy; we are heading in the right direction.
“A few other teams are beginning to catch up with us, so we must stay focused, humble, and ready to keep pushing.”
