The Hollywoodbets Sharks are preparing to take on the DHL Stormers in the Vodacom United Rugby Championship match this Saturday in Cape Town, with their lineup enhanced for the second-round derby.
The forward trio—hooker Dylan Richardson, lock Emile van Heerden, and eighthman Siya Kolisi—have all been cleared to return after being unavailable for last week’s match. Springbok captain Kolisi will lead the Hollywoodbets Sharks into action this weekend.
In other lineup changes, Ethan Hooker will transition from centre to wing to fill in for the injured Makazole Mapimpi, while the talented and energetic Jurenzo Julius will be making his starting debut after appearing as a substitute last week.
“This week, we concentrated on bringing back a few players for this match,” remarked head coach John Plumtree. “We were missing eight forwards against the Vodacom Bulls, but returning from England with a win has boosted the boys’ confidence ahead of this game.
“Securing a victory in Cape Town against the Stormers is a formidable challenge, but we’re eager to take it on.”
The absence of several players last week posed significant challenges, but the contributions and leadership of senior team members remain essential. They will once again be called upon to provide support and inspiration.
“The leaders are performing excellently, maintaining our standards, and they consistently rise to the occasion when things get tough,” Plumtree concluded.
