Darts star Vincent van der Voort has remarked on Ricky Evans, a contestant in the World Championship, known for his entertaining behavior.
Evans overcame Dave Chisnall in an exhilarating match at Ally Pally, securing the final leg with a close score of 6-5.
He managed to captivate the audience with his festive outfit, showcasing a Christmas shirt and whimsical glasses.
This charm has helped him gain significant support from fans at Ally Pally.
Van der Voort, who is 49, expressed that the beloved player engages in the “strangest things” in his free time.
The Belgian competitor revealed that Evans has even been spotted walking in public while donning women’s clothing.
In the podcast ‘Darts Draait Door’, he remarked: “You can’t play that.
“I’ve witnessed those videos online, too.
“Is he dancing on television in his boxer shorts once more? He indulges in the oddest activities.
“Or wandering through the streets dressed as a woman. He’s certainly a unique character.”
