WREXHAM encountered “nightmare” conditions as thick fog impacted the game on the field.
The Welsh club – jointly owned by Hollywood stars Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds – faced Blackpool on Boxing Day.
At first, the forecast indicated temperatures of nine degrees with cloudy skies and breezy conditions.
In reality, the pitch was completely enveloped in fog, making it challenging for players to even see the yellow match ball from time to time.
Blackpool struck first in the match, with Ashley Fletcher scoring from a cross a mere three minutes in.
Regrettably, Sky Sports News’ cameras struggled to capture the moment when Fletcher scored against keeper Mark Howard.
One fan commented: “Watching this Wrexham match, and this fog must be giving the V1/V2 officials a tough time.”
Another noted: “This fog is becoming thicker.”
A different supporter quipped: “How could he see where the goal was with all this fog?”
Another fan added: “Cannot see anything.”

Wrexham managed to equalize in the 24th minute, thanks to star forward Paul Mullin.
The striker celebrated his goal by putting on a Deadpool mask, paying homage to co-owner Reynolds.
Interestingly, Mullin had a minor role in the third installment of the Marvel franchise, portraying a character named “Welshpool.”
