JAKE PAUL is reportedly ready to surpass his brother Logan in arranging a rivalry fight against UFC superstar Conor McGregor.
Earlier this month, McGregor announced that he has accepted an unexpected offer to face Logan in an exhibition boxing match in India set for next year.
Reporter Ariel Helwani has stated that preliminary discussions for the matchup, likely initiated by Indian billionaire Anant Ambani, have begun; however, both the UFC and the WWE are yet to be approached.
Initially, Ambani wanted Jake to be the one fighting McGregor in this crossover event.
Additionally, a sensational report suggests that he may indeed get his way.
ESPN boxing reporter Salvador Rodriguez claims that a grudge match between Jake and McGregor is now “under consideration” for mid-2025.
He posted on X: “Sources: Jake Paul vs Conor McGregor under consideration for July, August or September 2025 in India.”
This eye-catching news follows closely after Jake teased a “major announcement in January.”
A potential match between Jake and McGregor has been building for nearly four years.
Jake began his push for a lucrative clash with the MMA giant in late 2020.

He started mocking McGregor through a sequence of videos, which included unflattering comments about the Irishman’s fiancée Dee Devlin.
Over the years, the two have traded insults, with McGregor recently criticizing Jake’s crossover fight with boxing legend Mike Tyson last month.

He remarked: “A 16-minute spar in sparring gloves. F*** off.”
Paul directed his attacks toward the UFC’s frontman late last month after McGregor was found civilly liable for assaulting a woman – Nikita Hand – at a Dublin hotel in December 2018.
McGregor fired back just hours later after vowing to challenge the ruling by calling Jake a “little gay nerd.”
Jake intensified his verbal disputes with McGregor soon after the Dubliner announced his potential exhibition with Logan.
He wrote on X: “Now it all makes sense why Conor McGregor & his team have been tirelessly trying to engage MVP in negotiations for a fight between us.
“As we’ve indicated to them privately, & I’m now stating it publicly.
“The only condition under which we will consider a professional boxing or MMA fight with Conor is if Dana White / the UFC are at the negotiation table directly or explicitly consenting to discussions.
“Conor is washed up. He needs the Pauls. Logan can win however he prefers.”
Former two-division champion McGregor has not fought since suffering a broken leg in his trilogy bout against Dustin Poirier three and a half years ago.
