Cristiano Ronaldo gives Georgina Rodriguez a playful squeeze on holiday

He is expected to return to the field on January 9 when Al-Nassr takes on Al Arkhoud in the continued Saudi Pro League.

This five-time Ballon d’Or winner aims to reach 1,000 career goals.

He achieved his 900th goal in September and currently stands at 910.

Last month, Ronaldo admitted that reaching the next milestone may prove challenging.

As he nears his 40th birthday in February, he reflected: “I focus on the present. Long-term goals are no longer part of my mindset.”

“I can’t obsess over my previous desire to achieve 1,000 goals. But reaching 900 last month was a significant milestone. It’s about living in the now and observing how my body holds up in the future.”

“Hitting 1,000 goals would be incredible, but if it doesn’t happen, I will still hold the title of the player with the most goals in history.”
