Gameweek 17 will begin on December 26, which means teams will be busy with training and travel on Christmas Day.
However, four players will miss their match due to suspensions.
Players who have received five yellow cards in the first half of the season are subject to a one-match suspension.
The players affected are Nicolas Dominguez, Sam Morsy, Lucas Paqueta, and Ashley Young.
Dominguez will be sidelined for Nottingham Forest‘s game against Tottenham Hotspur, while Morsy will be absent from Ipswich Town’s matchup with Arsenal.
Paqueta will miss out on West Ham‘s contest against Southampton, and Young will not be participating in Everton‘s match against Manchester City.
While these players will be absent for the Boxing Day matches, they are expected to return before the year’s end.
To avoid incurring another suspension due to yellow card accumulation, they must reach a total of 10 cards.
