FORMULA 1 leader Christian Horner put a challenging year behind him as he was awarded a CBE, alongside his Spice Girl partner Geri.
The Red Bull chief, aged 51, received the honor from King Charles yesterday for his significant contributions to motorsport.
Geri, aged 52, appeared more Posh than Baby Spice in a stylish netted veil complemented by a headband.
The award symbolized the conclusion of a challenging year for the racing executive, who was cleared of allegations connected to intimate texts sent to a colleague.
Reflecting on his meeting with the King at the ceremony held at Buckingham Palace, he described him as “charming.”
Horner was accused of sending late-night texts to a woman in her 40s, who escalated the issue to the human resources department at the racing team.

This resulted in a comprehensive internal misconduct investigation, putting Horner’s role as head of Red Bull, a position he has held since 2005, in peril.
The situation also added strain to his marriage, as the allegations reportedly left Geri feeling “mortified and angry” towards her husband of nine years.
An internal investigation cleared Horner in February, with his accuser’s appeal subsequently denied in August. Horner expressed he was “relieved” to be vindicated.
Currently, he and Geri, who have a seven-year-old son, are reportedly moving forward beyond the controversy and looking ahead.
Last Friday, the pair displayed a loving demeanor during the FIA Awards in Kigali, Rwanda.
Horner has also mended ties with Max Verstappen’s father Jos – who had reportedly supported calls for Horner’s ousting during the investigation.
