Known as ‘The Welsh Gangster,’ he wrapped up his debut year in MMA with an unbeaten streak of 3-0, securing his spot in the sport’s top promotion through Dana White‘s Contenders Series last August.

Elliott finished a remarkable year spectacularly last month with a thrilling third-round knockout of Bassil Hafez at UFC 309, which took place at Madison Square Garden.
However, 2024 took an even greater turn for the Shore Mixed Martial Arts fighter just last week.
At just 25 years old, Elliott earned his Brazilian jiu-jitsu brown belt from UK MMA pioneer Richard Shore.
Feeling a deep sense of pride about this milestone, Elliott posted on X: “BJJ brown belt that’s no joke.”
“My team-mates designated me fighter of the year, and my coaches honored me with knockout of the year for my performance at MSG Brutha!”
“At my gym’s end-of-year awards, regarded as the most prestigious award ceremony on the planet, 2024 will be unforgettable, Brutha.”
Elliott is set to make his next octagon appearance in March, aiming for his fourth straight pay-per-view bout at UFC 313 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

He has a potential opponent lined up for his next fight – the inaugural BMF titleholder Jorge Masvidal.

After watching his idol Chael Sonnen corner Colby Covington during the final fight of 2024 last weekend, he reiterated his eagerness to face Masvidal.
