TYSON FURY left a journalist astounded with his chilling statement about delivering “serious hurt” to Oleksandr Usyk in their forthcoming rematch.
The Gypsy King showcased an intense attitude during Wednesday’s open training session, just days before his crucial bout against Usyk.
Fury was prepared for a training session with coach Sugarhill Steward but ultimately decided against it.
Journalist Claudia Trejos asked, “What surprises await us on Saturday?”
Fury replied, “A lot of pain.”
Trejos, clearly caught off guard, responded with “wow,” to which Fury added, “Smash and damage.”
At age 36, Fury assured, “A lot of hurt. Serious hurt.”
This British icon faced his first career loss in May, when he was narrowly defeated by Usyk.
Usyk, now 37, made history as the first four-belt undisputed heavyweight champion but gave up the IBF title to make way for the rematch.
Fury opted to keep his game plan a secret by skipping the standard open workout.
