AWORKINPROGRESS (2.12 Lingfield, nap)

Is set to excel and keep his flawless chasing record intact. Nick Gifford’s five-year-old triumphed in his debut over fences at Stratford and secured another victory at the same course and distance three weeks ago. He has a preference for softer ground and should handle the 8lb weight increase.

KYNTARA (1.15 Newbury, nb)

Displays remarkable hurdles form, highlighted by a second-place finish in the Pertemps Final at Cheltenham last season. He also finished second in his sole chase attempt in 2022, and his front-running strategy should serve him well in this smaller field.

TIGHTENOURBELTS (12.50 Ludlow, treble)

Displayed impressive jumping skills when leading to victory at Exeter last time out. A 3lb rise appears justified, and he possesses the endurance to effectively handle this distance.

CABHFUILFUNGI (2.35 Ludlow, lucky 15)

Serves as a commentator’s challenge but rounds off our Lucky 15. He has come in a close second in his last two races, and the performance from his most recent outing seems stronger than today’s competition.
