Bafana Bafana Set to Learn AFCON 2025 Draw in January

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has revealed that the draw for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) will occur on 27 January 2025 in Morocco.

Bafana Bafana, having secured their spot in the tournament, will occupy a favorable seeding position during the draw, given their top-10 placement in the CAF rankings. This positioning will help them avoid challenging teams such as Senegal, Egypt, Algeria, Nigeria, Ivory Coast, Cameroon, Mali, and Tunisia.

However, the ultimate seeding may be affected by the upcoming FIFA World Ranking, which is set to be released on 19 December.
