DILLIAN WHYTE is poised to return to the boxing ring this WEEKEND to face off against Ghanaian heavyweight Ebenezer Tetteh!

The bout is set to take place in Gibraltar, the same location where Whyte successfully avenged his earlier loss in a dramatic rematch against Alexander Povetkin in 2021.

Whyte, 36, shared his enthusiasm about getting back into the ring as he seeks to reestablish himself in the heavyweight title race.

The Body Snatcher told Sky Sports: “I feel fantastic, and it’s thrilling to return to the spotlight, possibly rejoining the heavyweight mix.

“I’ve truly missed this. After some downtime, I’ve realized how much I yearn for these important fights.

“We are facing a formidable adversary. He holds a record of 23-1, with his sole defeat to Daniel Dubois, so I must approach this with seriousness and prepare both mentally and physically.

“I’ve been inactive for a while, and he has been fighting regularly; just look at what Dubois did to Anthony Joshua. Now, he’s become a world champion, so underestimating someone like him would be unwise.”

Whyte (30-3) last fought in March, securing a points victory over Christian Hammer in Dublin, while Tetteh boasts a 23-1 record, with his only defeat coming against Daniel Dubois at the Royal Albert Hall in 2019.
