A medical emergency caused a disruption during the Women’s Super League match between Tottenham and Brighton.
With just three minutes left at the Broadfield Stadium, the game was briefly halted.
Initially, players from both teams stayed on the field.
However, they soon proceeded down the tunnel, worried about a fan in the stands.
Medical staff responded swiftly to assist the supporter in distressing circumstances.
The match was delayed for 14 minutes before the players returned to complete the game.
Spurs released a statement on social media, stating: “Our thoughts are with the individual receiving care.”
