
ENGLAND must find a new venue for their World Cup qualifier against Andorra, as Wembley is anticipated to be booked.
The Three Lions learned their rivals for the 2026 World Cup qualifying during the draw held in Zurich yesterday.
Thomas Tuchel is poised to kick off his role as England manager on March 21 with a fixture against Wembley facing Albania.
Following that, England will take on Latvia three days later before traveling to Andorra in June.
They are slated to meet Andorra again on September 6, but it is likely that this match will not occur at Wembley.
This situation arises due to the national stadium being scheduled for a series of Coldplay concerts during that period.
The British band has 10 performances scheduled at Wembley from August 22 to September 8.
This includes shows on September 4 and 7, presenting a logistical challenge for England to play in between these dates.
In recent times, the Three Lions have played some home matches outside of Wembley.
This past June, they had a pre-Euro 2024 friendly against Bosnia & Herzegovina at Newcastle’s St James’ Park.

In June 2023, the team achieved a 7-0 victory over North Macedonia at Manchester United’s Old Trafford.
Alternative venues such as Molineux and the Riverside have also been used since 2021.

Three days after their home match against Andorra, England will travel to Serbia.
The following month, they will compete against Latvia away before concluding their campaign with matches against Serbia and Albania in November 2025.
Regarding the recent draw, Tuchel expressed: “I hold great respect for both Serbia and Albania.
“They can be unpredictable, with a strong heritage in technical football and players who play with high emotions.
‘A NEW EXPERIENCE’
“Both of their coaches are noted former players, so we need to be very attentive to that.
“As for Latvia… England has never faced them before; it will be a fresh experience for all of us.
“We are the clear favorites, and our focus must be on qualifying; this is where we should concentrate our efforts.
“It’s essential that we approach this with seriousness and respect if we want to realize our ambitions.”
