Bukayo Saka Jokingly Teases Havertz Over ‘Stealing’ His Hat-Trick Goal, Promises Arsenal Fans, ‘Don’t Worry, It’s on the Way!’

The winger netted two goals and provided an assist for the third, which was scored by Havertz, 25.

Arsenal opened the scoring when Saka tapped in from the far post after Gabriel Jesus crossed the ball in the 34th minute.

In the 78th minute, Saka’s pressure on the goalkeeper and defender, who were attempting to play out, allowed him to reclaim the ball before scoring his second of the night.

The last goal was credited to Havertz, who managed to deflect a shot from Saka that struck the net in the 88th minute.

This touch from Havertz likely denied Saka his first-ever hat-trick with Arsenal.

After the match, he humorously remarked to TNT Sports: “Yeah, he got in the way of it.”

Nonetheless, Saka kept a positive outlook, stating, “But don’t worry, it’s coming, it’s coming.”

Saka’s two goals raised his seasonal tally to nine goals and 12 assists, while his European goal count doubled thanks to his performance at the Emirates.

After the match, he praised young star Myles Lewis-Skelly, who had a standout game despite playing out of position at left-back. Saka commented, “I told him before the match that this is his level and he should have no doubts. Just play as we do in training. I was blown away by him, and he contributed significantly to the first goal.”

Next, Arsenal will host Everton on Saturday.
