At 27 years old, Topuria recently secured a victory against American fighter Max Holloway during UFC 308.

Interestingly, the Al-Nassr forward had previously expressed support for Holloway to win that bout.

Ronaldo, who is now 39, was also heard saying that Topuria talks too much while commenting on the Georgian-Spanish fighter’s bout against Alexander Volkov.

He said: “[Topuria] talks too much. I believe he [won] against Volk because Volk wasn’t ready due to that kick.

“He hasn’t faced the top fighters.”

In response, Topuria didn’t hold back with his reaction to the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star.

He asserted that Ronaldo can “go f*** himself” and expressed his intention to invite Lionel Messi to his next match instead.

During an interview on El Partidazo Cope, he stated: “I came across a clip of him saying that I just talk a lot.

“Cristiano always has something to comment on.

“We have Messi, and as for Ronaldo, he can f*** himself.”

Additionally, the featherweight champion shared his plans to step up to higher weight divisions moving forward.

He said: “Definitely, I’m moving to lightweight.

“It’s time to enjoy what I love; I’m leaving weight cutting behind.

“I learned about eating once a day from Sergio Ramos; we sometimes train together. He has been very dedicated.

“I’m training effectively, and after Christmas, I aim to get into specific training.

“Miami has been mentioned, but I’m not sure; I have some pending discussions.

“I’m serious about my strategy: I want to move up to the next division, aiming for Charles Oliveira.

“Islam Makhachev, the champion, will be fighting in January, so he won’t be available in April.”

Topuria remains undefeated in the UFC since his debut in October 2020.
