MANCHESTER UNITED is reportedly receptive to offers for Marcus Rashford during the January transfer window.
The Red Devils might consider separating ways with him to secure funds for new manager Ruben Amorim.
Rashford, 27, was once viewed as indispensable at Old Trafford, having risen through the ranks of the club’s academy.
The forward has struggled with his performance over the past year, finding the net just four times in 15 Premier League appearances this season.
However, he has managed to score three goals in the four league matches under Amorim since taking over from Erik ten Hag.
Nonetheless, his recent improvement does not appear to ensure his continued presence at the club.
Sky Germany reports that Manchester United would be willing to sell Rashford by next summer at the latest.
Moreover, it has been suggested that the club is willing to consider “significant offers” in the upcoming January transfer period.
The report emphasizes that while they acknowledge his growth under Amorim, they are not against a potential sale.
The primary reason for the potential sale of the academy product is his “exorbitant salary,” which could help navigate Financial Fair Play regulations.

His current contract runs until 2028, following an extension signed in July 2023.
How Ruben Amorim will revitalize Marcus Rashford’s Man United career through a subtle positional adjustment
If Rashford were to leave, Manchester United would gain greater “flexibility” within the transfer market.
Amorim has previously acknowledged the need to find a “solution” for Rashford.
He stated: “We will strive to find the right solution for him, but he must accept who he is.”
“Most importantly, we need to return to that level.”
Since Amorim’s appointment, various exciting transfer possibilities have been linked with the club.
It is reported that Amorim wishes to bring three talents from Sporting Lisbon to Old Trafford.
This includes standout striker Viktor Gyokeres, who has scored 25 goals in 22 appearances across all competitions this season.
Additionally, defensive midfielder Morten Hjulmand and center-back Goncalo Inacio would add much-needed depth to the squad.
Meanwhile, club legend Rio Ferdinand has emphasized that the management must swiftly “clear out players”.
Three Sporting stars Amorim could pursue after joining Man Utd

RUBEN AMORIM has ruled out the prospect of signing any of his Sporting Lisbon players in the January transfer window.
However, officials at the Portuguese club expect Amorim will make inquiries come summer, with funds available.
Here are three Sporting stars that United could aim for… though they won’t come cheap:
VIKTOR GYOKERES
Age: 26
Position: Striker
Cost: £84million
The Swede has impressed since joining Sporting last summer from Coventry, gaining attention from top clubs across Europe.
He netted 43 goals in 50 matches last season and has already scored 18 this term.
GONCALO INACIO
Age: 23
Position: Defender
Cost: £50million
This ball-playing center-back debuted under Amorim and has become crucial in Sporting’s recent title success.
He can also play left-back if needed and has 12 caps for Portugal.
MORTEN HJULMAND
Age: 25
Position: Midfield
Cost: £40million
The Dane ranks among the elite holding midfielders in Portugal and was appointed captain by Amorim.
He could serve as an ideal replacement for Casemiro.
