MICHAEL SMITH is preparing for his world championship journey by designing a stunning new games room.
The Bully Boy, who claimed victory at the world darts championship in 2023 in an exhilarating final against Michael van Gerwen, is determined to reclaim the top honor this year.
As the World No.2, he is making important preparations to gear up for the contest at Alexandra Palace later this month.
By posting on social media, the 34-year-old revealed an incredible man cave.
The dimly-lit room, enhanced by a large glass door and windows on the right side, features a big flat-screen television at one end, along with speakers.
As the camera panned left, it revealed stunning wallpaper of Smith holding the Sid Waddell Trophy from his championship win.
The wallpaper presents a black-and-white contrast, highlighting his iconic red shirt against some golden confetti.
This design could also pay tribute to the St Helens rugby team, which he fervently supports.
One side of the wallpaper featured a darts board showing his score against Mighty Mike in the final, while the other showcased a bull cow, nodding to his nickname.
As the camera continued to pan left, it unveiled an attractive bar area illuminated with red and yellow LED lights.

Smith captioned his post: “The games room is coming along beautifully. Just a few final touches left before I put up the board.”
In reaction to the video, one fan commented: “Is that a TV or did you steal a screen from the local cinema?” Smith humorously replied, “It’s a TV, haha. The other one is 43 inches too, so that’s a tiny screen there haha.”

Another supporter said: “That looks amazing.”
A third chimed in: “That’s twice the size of my living room, lol. You’re going to be world champion again this year….”
Another commented: “Having your winning double for the world on your wall is quite remarkable.”
Smith joked about adding a pole for fans who might want to dance after one described the room as resembling “a lap dance club.”
The world darts championship is set to commence on December 15, with Smith’s first match scheduled for December 19 against the winner of the match between Kevin Doets and Noa-Lynn van Leuven.
The champion will walk away with £500,000.
Last year, Luke Humphries emerged victorious, defeating Luke Littler in the final, while Smith faced an early exit in the fourth round against Chris Dobey.
