PRINCE OF PERTH (2.45 Musselburgh, nap)
This horse appears eager for this longer distance after a strong showing at Carlisle last time. He finished with power there, and this tougher challenge on his handicap debut for Lucinda Russell should suit him well.
BRIGHT (5.00 Newcastle, nb)
He has won on both occasions at Gosforth Park, including his latest outing where he still had energy left. Despite some traffic issues, he deserved a better performance, indicating he can handle a 5lb weight increase.
YOU SOME GIRL (12.45 Musselburgh, treble)
She looked remarkable when winning by seven lengths here just ten days ago. Though she’s rising in the weights, she continues to improve and has developed a solid rapport with today’s claiming rider.
METKAYINA (1.30 Lingfield, Lucky 15)
She showed promise in bumpers and came close over a longer distance here during her debut outing over hurdles last month. A small improvement could lead her to win.
