During a pivotal moment in the frame, as both players were strategically maneuvering around the yellow ball, the atmosphere intensified.

As Wu lined up his shot, the animated crowd attempted to create a distraction.

Following Wu’s shot, one audience member overstepped the mark.

This individual was heard exclaiming “Egg fried rice,” which sparked an uncomfortable reaction among the other spectators.

Egg fried rice is a popular dish found in Chinese restaurants and takeaway establishments.

Remarkably, this incident was not the first occasion the crowd had been called out at the Shoot Out in Leicester.

In another match featuring Slessor against Mark Joyce, they were observed cheering in favor of Gregg Wallace.

Some attendees were chanting, “There’s only one Gregg Wallace.”

The controversial MasterChef host is facing allegations of inappropriate comments to several women and is under investigation by the MasterChef production company, Banijay.

Wallace has strongly refuted these claims.

However, fans quickly began to draw parallels between Slessor, who is bald, and Wallace during his match against Joyce.

The tournament, which concluded with Tom Ford’s victory, has received criticism due to the unruly crowd behavior.

With rules differing from traditional snooker, players compete in a single frame under a 10-minute shot clock.

Unlike standard snooker events where silence is maintained, fans are encouraged to be vocal during this tournament.
