DAZED Premier League player Michail Antonio asked a passerby who came to his aid after his serious accident: “Where am I? What’s going on? Which car am I in?”
The West Ham striker, 34, was recovering from surgery for a fractured leg last night.
He had to be rescued from his £260,000 Ferrari FF, which suffered extensive damage after crashing into a tree in Theydon Bois, Essex, on Saturday.
Antonio remarkably survived this high-speed supercar accident.
Witnesses stated that the injured West Ham player seemed to be in a highly confused condition.
The driver’s side was severely compromised, and the force of the collision reportedly caused Michail, 34, to be thrown into the passenger seat.
He was trapped for nearly an hour in the crumpled wreck before being airlifted from the location.
Last night, he was healing from surgery on a leg fracture at a hospital in London.
Samuel Woods, 34, was heading home after walking his dog in Epping Forest when he noticed what he first thought was an abandoned vehicle on the roadside.
Upon further investigation, he rushed to assist upon realizing there was a person who needed help inside the car.
Samuel, a caretaker from Regent’s Park, shared with The Sun: “I approached him to ensure he was conscious.
“I heard the sirens and reassured him that help would arrive soon.

“He looked very disoriented. He asked, ‘Where am I? What’s happening? What car am I in?’
“The paramedics arrived fairly quickly. It was shocking to see. The car had a strong smell of petrol.”
Samuel, who is not a football fan and did not recognize the player, added: “When I saw him, I thought, ‘He’s in serious trouble’.”
“I simply informed him, ‘You’ve had an accident.’ He didn’t react because he was scanning around, trying to understand what I meant. He was seated in the passenger side.”
Other drivers saw smoke rising from the wreckage — near the home of West Ham owner David Sullivan.
One driver, who passed the scene shortly after the crash, recalled: “The car was in total disarray.
“There was smoke coming from the vehicle, and I think that’s why people were reluctant to approach.”
Thousands of fans have sent their prayers and well-wishes since news of the crash spread.

On a statement released yesterday, a representative from West Ham stated: “Michail has undergone surgery for a lower limb fracture following a traffic incident on Saturday afternoon. He will be closely monitored in the hospital over the next few days.
“Everyone at the club wishes Michail a swift recovery and expresses heartfelt thanks to the football community for the immense support shown since the news broke.”
The club also extended a “sincere thank you to the emergency responders and medical teams who continue to support him in his recovery.”
Debbie, Michail’s ex-wife, traveled from her home in Manchester to be with him during this time.
Former and current teammates have also reached out with supportive messages for the popular player, including Declan Rice, who stated: “Thinking of you and your family, brother. Sending prayers to you all.”
Maxwel Cornet added: “We’re with you, brother.”

The Ferrari FF was known as the fastest four-seater car in the world when it was released in 2011.
It can reach speeds of 208mph and can accelerate from 0 to 62mph in just 3.7 seconds.
Michail previously crashed a £210,000 Lamborghini into a garden wall on a snowy road on Christmas Day 2019.
He joined West Ham from Nottingham Forest in 2015 for £7 million and has since become the club’s all-time top scorer in the Premier League, with 68 goals from 268 appearances.
Michail, who also co-hosts BBC’s Footballer’s Football podcast with Callum Wilson of Newcastle, has been selected for England squads three times but has yet to make an appearance.
In 2021, he chose to represent Jamaica, where his parents come from, and has earned 21 caps for the national team.
