After unexpectedly losing the first set, Greaves became the first favorite to allow McKinlay to score a set.

This initial challenge seemed to fuel Greaves, who then dominated by winning 12 out of the next 14 legs.

During the contest, Greaves recorded six maximum scores, leading to her eventual triumph over McKinlay.

This victory comes after Beau ‘n’ Arrow turned down an invitation from the PDC to participate in the World Championships at Alexandra Palace.

Previously, the Yorkshire native, who overpowered Cameron Menzies in the Grand Slam of Darts, stated that being a women’s world champion is of greater importance to her.

Furthermore, it was recently announced that the PDC has barred their tour-card holders from participating in the WDF World Championship.

Greaves, who does not hold a PDC Tour Card, remarked: “The ladies’ game is incredibly important to me.”

“Even though the PDC does well, they do not organize a ladies’ world championship, which was a major goal for me when I was younger.”

“I aspired to become a women’s world champion, and I achieved that at Lakeside; I wanted to defend it, and I did, so returning was vital. I don’t understand why anyone would think I wouldn’t do that.”

Beau Greaves reflects on her impressive victory against Fallon Sherrock’s partner, Cameron Menzies, in the Grand Slam of Darts, despite not progressing further.

“It’s a tough choice. I would love to compete. My enjoyment of the game this year has exceeded last year’s. Although my results haven’t been as strong, my enjoyment has increased.”

“The ladies’ game is not solely about me, Fallon [Sherrock], Lisa [Ashton], and others. There’s an entire community of us that needs to advance.”

When asked if she would take part in both events, Greaves confirmed: “Absolutely.”

“It’s unfortunate they compel you to choose. I don’t comprehend that decision; it baffles me. I believe it’s unwise. I would love to participate.”

“I may not win at Ally Pally, but I would give it my best shot and evaluate my performance—ultimately, my ambition is to be a ladies’ world champion.”
