ANGE POSTECOGLOU acknowledged that Tottenham fans had every reason to be upset after a disappointing display against Bournemouth.
The Spurs manager faced frustrated supporters following the game, where Dean Huijsen took advantage of inadequate defending to net a goal from a corner in the 17th minute.
At present, Postecoglou’s squad has secured only one win—the 4-0 triumph over Manchester City—out of their last six matches over the past month.
The troubled Aussie mentioned: “They’re upset, and they have every right to be. They voiced their feelings directly, and I will take that into consideration.
“It’s never easy to accept criticism as a human being, but you have to embrace it.
“I’ve been around enough to realize that when things go awry, it’s vital to comprehend the fans’ frustration and disappointment.
“They are correct to feel disillusioned because we let a match of football slip. But that’s alright. I can handle that.
“All I can say is I’m genuinely frustrated (with the performance), and I’m fully committed to implementing changes and will fight until we achieve them.”
Postecoglou, 59, initially irritated the disappointed away fans by not approaching them following the game.
He later seemed to single out one supporter, waving them over to him.

As the Spurs boss approached the away supporters, he shook his head, signaling for calm as stewards intervened.
Postecoglou then briefly interacted with another discontented supporter before clapping and walking away.

When asked to elaborate on the “direct feedback” he received from fans, the former Celtic manager chose not to specify, stating: “Probably not appropriate for here.”
This situation casts a shadow over the upcoming Sunday match against arch-rivals Chelsea, who currently stand a comfortable eight points ahead of tenth-placed Spurs.
To add to the complications, Spurs have lost Ben Davies due to a hamstring injury, leaving them short-staffed with three center-backs unavailable.
Huijsen, 19, netted for the Cherries, who dominated the game and could have extended their lead further.
‘HE IS GOOD NEWS FOR US’
Cherries’ head coach Andoni Iraola stated: “It’s been an exceptional victory.
“I was particularly happy with our defensive performance. We restricted them to very few chances.
“(Dean Huijsen) was exceptional defensively and contributed with a goal.
“His height certainly gives us an advantage during set-pieces. He is valuable for our squad.”
Huijsen was included in the lineup only because of Marco Senesi’s quad injury.
Iraola added: “It’s quite serious. He will be out for a significant duration.”
