
LUKE LITTLER has earned a nomination for the BBC Young Sports Personality of the Year award.
This year has been exceptional for the young athlete, who has swiftly ascended the world rankings and gained significant national acclaim.
He is one of the top three finalists for this prestigious title, competing against skateboarding Olympic bronze medalist Sky Brown, 16, and Paralympic swimmer William Ellard, 18.
Additional nominees feature Arsenal talent Ethan Nwaneri, alongside Mia Brookes (snowboarding), Cat Ferguson (cycling), Phoebe Gill (athletics), Abigail Martin (gymnastics), Bly Twomey (para-table tennis), and Iona Winnifrith (para-swimming).
Littler has seen a quick rise and is elated about his nomination.
He expressed: “This year has been phenomenal, and being nominated for Young Sports Personality of the Year is just the cherry on top.”

Littler began the year ranked 164th and has impressively surged to the fourth position.
The 17-year-old has participated in the World Darts Championship finals and triumphed in Premier League Darts during his debut.
